Although this was a compact room, the clients desired a luxurious ambiance. Beam Interiors redesigned every room in this client's home with their desired Japandi aesthetic throughout. In line with this feel, incorporating natural materials was essential, enhancing the space with a blend of textures that accentuated this. Fluted tiles with subtle veining adding movement, extend upwards, guiding the gaze toward the newly added roof window. The new Velux replaced a window on the wall and now invites an abundance of light into the room making this a calm sanctuary to unwind in the home as you look up to the sky while you shower.

Bespoke joinery gives a high-end finish and adds more texture whilst concealing valuable storage effortlessly. Brushed stainless fixtures add timeless elegance. Considered sightlines through features like the listello trim cleverly work with the proportions and simplicity within this small room measuring less than 3.5 square meters.

A grey wall-hung toilet blends effortlessly into the space and a marble sink adds quiet luxury. The door was replaced with opaque glass panelling letting that light from the newly installed roof-light flood out into the hallway. he colour palette was kept tight but the space is full of texture adding interest at every turn so there is a good energy within this calm space.
